I found it was very fun and enjoyable to interview people. Also it was fun to take part in something different, outside of lessons. It helped me with my writing skills too.
It was very good for four reasons. Firstly, we got a day off school and also, we experienced what it was like to work with a deadline. Thirdly, we got an insight into the world of journalism and lastly, I believe it got many of us more interested in ICT skills as well as current affairs.
I thought it was really fun. It gave me a detailed insight into how reporters work and I really enjoyed it. I found having to research an article really interesting and I would love to do it again.
I think it was a fun and interesting way to experience the work of a reporter, and a good way to discover more about articles in the news that may have interested you.
I think it is a good opportunity for us to experience what we see on TV all the time. It has taught me a lot about time management and investigating stories. I also learnt how hard it is to get an interview from someone!
I think that the BBC school report has been a great experience. It has boosted my confidence and has opened my eyes to thinking about a new career path.
I liked the opinions of the general public that we listened to when we interviewed them about old wives’ tales.
I found some parts interesting however some topics I found a bit tedious and I couldn’t find an article that particularly interested me.
I found it really insightful as previously I didn't really have any idea as to how a journalists’ day would progress. It has also given me more confidence as I went out and interviewed members of the public on their opinions of Mothering Sunday. In general, it has been an experience which has provided me with many skills useful for the future and I have found it positively invigorating!
I loved doing the BBC school report! I feel it was a great experience and I learnt a lot from it. It gave us a chance to work independently and was a great deal of responsibility; I would love to do it again. Maheney Macfoy.
